This SVP of Capital Markets role leads the firm’s capital formation and transaction execution across debt and equity for commercial real estate assets and portfolios. The position operates as a senior partner to acquisitions, asset management, and finance, shaping capital structure decisions and advising leadership on financing strategy amid changing market conditions. Job Features Lead capital markets strategy and execution across debt and equity financings for commercial real estate assets and portfolios Originate, cultivate, and manage relationships with lenders, debt funds, banks, and equity partners to drive competitive capital solutions Partner with acquisitions, asset management, and finance to align capital structures with business plans, refinancing timing, and portfolio objectives Monitor capital markets conditions and provide actionable market intelligence and execution recommendations to senior leadership Structure and negotiate financing and investment terms, including pricing, covenants, guarantees, and intercreditor/partnership considerations Oversee end-to-end transaction execution, including lender/investor outreach, diligence coordination, term sheet negotiation, documentation process management, and closings Develop investment committee and executive-level materials summarizing capital options, proceeds, risks, and key sensitivities Manage and mentor junior capital markets professionals and/or external advisors to maintain high-quality underwriting and execution standards Blackstone Real Estate is the real estate investing business of Blackstone, a global alternative asset manager.
