This is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional looking to build expertise in fund due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and private credit research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence on private credit fund managers, including track record, portfolio, and performance analysis.
- Support manager research initiatives, market mapping exercises, peer benchmarking, and fee analyses.
- Prepare investment committee materials, due diligence reports, and client deliverables.
- Monitor existing fund investments and review quarterly portfolio reporting.
- Develop and maintain analytical models, databases, and research tools.
- Participate in manager meetings, industry conferences, and broader research projects supporting the firm's investment platform.
Ideal Background:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in private credit, asset management, investment banking, consulting, or a related investment role.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Experience with Excel and data analysis tools; SQL and Python exposure is a plus.
- Understanding of credit markets, fund structures, and investment due diligence processes.
- Progress toward CFA or CAIA is beneficial but not required.
