Key Responsibilities:
- Provide investment and transaction analysis
- Prepare and present investment opportunities to the firm’s Investment Committee
- Support sourcing and initial screening of direct and syndicated loan investments
- Manage investment due diligence and documentation process, including engagement of third- party advisors and legal counsel
- Monitor portfolio investments and provide detailed performance updates
- Monitor market activity through interactions with investment banks, restructuring advisors, private equity sponsors, legal counsel, and other industry professionals
- Support the Investment Team’s operational responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of investment banking, direct lending, or restructuring experience preferable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic with ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines
- Collaborative team player who is resourceful, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
Expected base salary for this position is between $150,000 and $175,000. However, base pay if hired will be determined commensurate with experience and is only a part of the total compensation package which includes eligibility for a discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
