Associate, Private Credit - Portfolio Management & Manager Research

Key Responsibilities: Review and evaluate prospective investment opportunities and conduct due diligence, including due diligence visits and calls with portfolio managers and research analysts Maintain an internal database of prospective investment opportunities Write manager meeting notes, due diligence reports and investment recommendation memos, including peer group analysis and manager review commentaries Track and report manager performance, build relationships with underlying managers, and coordinate cash drawdown and funding calendars Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of the opportunity set and key risks across private market and alternative strategies Develop a quantitative risk framework, build financial models, and perform technical analysis Monitor fund developments via GP relationships and track fund/portfolio exposures and performance attribution Oversee fund capital calls and distributions

Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in private credit manager selection and research Strong quantitative, data management and research skills Prior experience on an institutional platform with similar portfolios and manager research is preferred Location & Employment New York, NY · Full-time
