Financial Reporting Manager (REMOTE)

JCW is currently partnered with a leading property and casualty insurer with a national footprint looking for an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This is a high-visibility role overseeing key parts of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, with direct exposure to senior finance leadership. It’s a great fit for someone with insurance accounting experience who’s ready to lead a team and take ownership of statutory and GAAP reporting. This role is on-site in the firm's Manhattan office. Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals Prepare and review statutory and GAAP financial statements, including the Annual and Quarterly Statements and supporting schedules Partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and treasury teams to ensure accurate reporting Support external audits and regulatory exams, serving as a key point of contact for auditors Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in P&C insurance (public accounting insurance audit background a plus) ~ Strong working knowledge of statutory accounting principles and U.Experience with reinsurance accounting and loss reserve reporting ~ Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar ERP systems ~ Haley Rizzo specializes in partnering with audit and finance professionals at leading organizations nationwide.
