Key Responsibilities: Underwrite residential mortgage files across Conventional, Jumbo, Non-QM, and Government products, ensuring adherence to guidelines Issue and clear accurate conditions promptly to minimize reconditioning and submission delays Conduct 2nd level reviews and manage escalations to maintain quality control and complianceRequired Qualifications 3+ years of underwriting experience with diverse loan types, including Conventional, Jumbo, Non-QM, and Government Experience in a fintech environment focused on mortgage products is strongly preferred Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory guidelines Ability to operate within a highly regulated industry while optimizing for performance Strong understanding of compliance and quality assurance in underwriting practices
