Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)Job Opportunity We are seeking a skilled individual with strong expertise in Neurosurgery, Spine, and Orthopedic Surgery. This role involves assisting in the preparation and execution of surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care throughout the process.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will perform a variety of routine and delegated tasks under the supervision of the surgical team, in accordance with the policies and standards of the department. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Assisting surgeons during operations, ensuring all necessary instruments are available and functioning.
- Adhering to protocols for sterilization and infection control.
- Monitoring and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Participating in the emergency response for any intraoperative
- CST licensure (NBSTSA).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
minimum of 2 years of relevant surgical experience, preferably in Neuro, Spine, and Orthopedic disciplines.
Proficiency with Da Vinci surgical systems is highly desirable.
Working HoursThis position features a flexible work schedule with various shift start times, including:6:45 AM - 3:15 PM3:00 PM - 11:30 PMWeekend availability and on-call duties are a requirement of this role.
Unit Details
The surgical unit provides a diverse scope of procedures, handling cases including:
Orthopedic surgeries
NeurosurgeryRobotic-guided surgeries
Daily patient census and procedural workload support collaborative interdisciplinary care.
