Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Provide direct nursing care in women’s and infants’ services, including Labor and Delivery and the Birth Center. Use the nursing process and evidence-based practices, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, promote patient safety and quality, and support colleagues through precepting in a fast-paced clinical environment. Provide direct patient care using the nursing process. Support Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, Mother/Baby, Women’s Care, or NICU services as assigned. Apply evidence-based nursing practices and relevant professional standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve patient outcomes. Promote safety and quality at the point of care. Precept new healthcare team members as appropriate.
