Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist for Home Care Services

Work Environment: This position is on-site, focusing on delivering home care services that allow patients to recover in a familiar and supportive environment. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, maintaining a manageable patient load to ensure that you can dedicate ample time to each individual. Our home care setting encourages flexibility in treatment plans, allowing you to adapt your methods to each patient's unique circumstances.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized patient assessments and create comprehensive care plans tailored to meet each patient's specific rehabilitation goals. Utilize advanced physical therapy techniques, including various manual therapy modalities, to enhance patient mobility and functionality. Monitor each patient's progress closely, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, and documenting changes accurately in EMR systems, particularly Web PT.Emphasize non-invasive, cost-effective treatment methods that prioritize improving motion and reducing the need for surgical interventions. Encourage and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, establishing trust and maintaining open communication regarding their progress and any concerns. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on physical and wellness needs. Lead and implement specialized fitness and wellness programs that address the individual requirements of patients, promoting a healthier lifestyle. Stay informed and educated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices to continually enhance treatment methodologies. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work closely with diverse patient populations, ranging from active individuals recovering from sports injuries to elderly clients seeking support with mobility issues. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches depending on the patient's age, physical condition, and rehabilitation goals will be essential in achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, and an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida. Evidence of continued professional development, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings pertaining to your license. Proven expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating proficiency in various manual therapy techniques. Exceptional ability to create and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs. Strong familiarity with EMR documentation, particularly using platforms like Web PT.Advanced knowledge of the latest physical therapy trends and techniques, supported by research.

Preferred Experience: Experience in home care settings is preferred, enhancing the ability to provide care in a patient-centered environment. Experience with sports medicine and acute injury rehabilitation would be an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster patient relationships and promote engagement in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits: The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
