Duration: 8-Month Contract or Contract-to-Hire$36-40/hr W2We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a healthcare organization with key accounting and financial operations. This role will provide ongoing operational support across grants, financial reporting, cost allocation, and accounts receivable (AR) monitoring as part of a planned transition. This opportunity is open to remote consultants for an initial 8-month engagement or local candidates in the Cleveland, OH area interested in a contract-to-hire position.

Key Responsibilities: Support ongoing accounting operations, including grants management and financial reporting. Assist with cost allocation activities and related financial processes. Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and support accurate financial tracking and reporting. Maintain accounting processes and ensure continuity of day-to-day financial operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications: Extensive accounting experience, ideally in a senior-level accounting role. Healthcare industry experience. Experience with financial reporting and accounts receivable monitoring. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Net Patient Revenue (NPR) in a healthcare environment. Familiarity with healthcare financial operations, cost allocation, and grants.

Employment Type: 8-month consulting engagement or contract-to-hire.

Location: Remote for consultants; Cleveland, OH, candidates must be local and able to work onsite for contract-to-hire.

Hours: 40 hours per week, aligned with Eastern Time.

Compensation: Competitive consulting rate based on experience. Contract-to-hire salary range of $60,000–$100,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
