Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods company based in Brooklyn, NY. With a brand that's quickly gaining momentum with customers nationwide, the company has delivered strong year-over-year growth and continues to expand its footprint across the US. The team is looking to hire a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, will play a key role in managing the month-end close and enjoys building out processes and procedures that scale with the business.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
Manage multiple entities and prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Oversee fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules
Utilize Excel to analyze expenses and highlight variances
Review invoices and resolve vendor issues
Manage general ledger reconciliations and prepare journal entries
Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and serving as a liaison with external auditors
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
NetSuite experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
