Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returnsApply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application. • Review bookkeeping work prepared by junior staff and ensure accuracy in financial records • Manage and review sales tax filings and payroll tax compliance for clients in multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on New York State • Collaborate with team members to support year-round planning and client advisory services • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior accounting staff • Communicate directly with clients to resolve tax and compliance issuesMinimum 7 years of recent public accounting experience, with a primary focus on tax preparation and compliance • Proven experience in reviewing bookkeeping, sales tax, and xhmxlyz payroll tax filings • Federal and New York State tax laws and regulations • CPA license preferred (or in progress) • Experience with tax software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar), QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel • Employment Type: Full TimeBonus/Commission: NoRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
