The Accounting Manager / Controller will oversee the core accounting function while strengthening processes and controls, and providing leadership with meaningful financial insights to support business decisions.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the accounting team (one direct report currently)
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Lead day-to-day finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting processes
- Analyze financial performance and help identify trends and opportunities
- Partner with the parent company and operational leadership to support profitability, cash flow, and sound decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Progressive accounting and finance experience with ownership of core accounting processes
- Experience mentoring, leading or developing accounting/finance team members
- Strong financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and driven, with ability to execute both strategically and tactically
