About the Opportunity: An established commercial interiors contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join its Manhattan-based team. The successful candidate will play an important role in pricing and securing commercial projects, preparing detailed estimates and working closely with internal teams to deliver competitive and profitable bids. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing and interior construction projects. Review architectural drawings, specifications and bid documents to establish project scope and requirements. Carry out detailed quantity take-offs and calculate material, labour and equipment requirements. Obtain, review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Prepare competitive bid proposals, cost breakdowns and pricing schedules. Identify project risks, exclusions and potential value-engineering opportunities. Work closely with project management, operations and other internal departments throughout the estimating process. Manage multiple bids and tender deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Participate in bid reviews, client meetings and pricing negotiations where required. Ensure estimates are commercially competitive while maintaining appropriate project margins.

Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within commercial drywall, metal framing or interior construction. Strong understanding of commercial drywall and interior systems. Experience interpreting architectural drawings, specifications and construction documents. Demonstrable experience carrying out detailed quantity take-offs and preparing project estimates. Strong understanding of labour costs, material pricing, productivity rates and subcontractor packages. Experience pricing commercial construction projects of varying sizes and complexity. Knowledge of the New York commercial construction market would be highly advantageous. Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders and work independently within a busy estimating department. This position is specifically suited to candidates with commercial drywall, metal framing or interior systems estimating experience. General construction estimating experience without a relevant drywall/interiors background is unlikely to be suitable.

Working Arrangement: The successful candidate will be based in the company's Manhattan office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
