Junior Hedge Fund Operations Key Responsibilities & DutiesManage daily trade booking and instrument setup, resolving trade breaks across multiple accounts. Support lifecycle event processing for various financial instruments, including equities and derivatives. Process wire requests and document signature requests accurately under tight deadlines. Reconcile daily cash and positions with fund administrators and service providers. Manage account openings, system setups, and connectivity with administrators and third parties. Handle KYC requests and audit inquiries, ensuring compliance with internal controls. Contribute to month-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting activities. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and collaborate with Technology teams for implementation.

Junior Hedge Fund Operations Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, fund administration, or accounting. Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Bloomberg. Familiarity with equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under deadline pressure. Experience with hedge funds, asset management, or fund administration is preferred. Exposure to AI tools for analysis and reconciliation tasks is advantageous. Ownership mindset with problem-solving skills and minimal supervision required.
