Staff Accountant

Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and complex account reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency Support month-end close processes while ensuring all accounting activity is completed accurately and in accordance with firm deadlines and GAAP standards Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable while maintaining organized and accurate financial records across all active accounts Collaborate with the accounting team and firm leadership on financial reporting, special projects, and ongoing accounting operations within a fast-paced professional environmentQualificationsPrior law firm accounting experience required with demonstrated proficiency in full-cycle accounting, general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes Strong knowledge of GAAP with the ability to apply accounting principles accurately and consistently across all financial functions Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently within a professional law firm accounting environmentJoin Us This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced staff accountant seeking a respected law firm environment, mentorship, and long-term stability.
