Commercial Legal Counsel

Key responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements, including MSAs, Order Forms, and DPAs, while partnering closely with the Go-to-Market team Review and negotiate a variety of procurement agreements across different vendor types, ensuring alignment with company goals Advise on legal issues related to AI, privacy, and product terms, while maintaining internal playbooks and templates for efficiencyRequired qualificationsJuris Doctor or equivalent law degree, with membership in good standing in a Canadian provincial or US state bar 3 to 5 years of experience as a commercial transactional lawyer, either in a law firm or in-house at a tech company Proven experience drafting and negotiating customer agreements, including MSAs and NDAs Working knowledge of privacy laws such as GDPR and their application in commercial agreements Strong interest in AI and its legal implications, along with practical experience using AI tools in legal work
