Global bank seeks VP, Counsel to join legal team Role will focus on wide range of banking contracts About Our ClientGlobal bank.
Job Description:
- Provide advice on various legal matters and perform legal review of contracts and other legal documents
- Draft and review internal standard form documentation and manage the use of the standard form documentation
- Manage and coordinate with external counsel when necessary
- Assist with litigation and disputes, particularly on non-performing credit asset workouts; Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and advise on legal risks associated with deals
- Advise on the Bank's legal issues, services and more
- Assist with special projects as needed
- The Successful ApplicantJDAdmitted to NY State BarExperience drafting and negotiating contracts for a bank, related to credit, financing transactions, commercial lending, loan documents, commercial credit documents, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player
- Fluency in Mandarin
