Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, preparing journal entries, recording accruals, and completing timely balance sheet reconciliations. Manage accounting and reporting for U.S. entities while coordinating intercompany activity with global subsidiaries to maintain accurate consolidated records. Analyze complex accounting matters and prepare clear documentation to support appropriate treatment under applicable standards. Partner with tax advisors and internal stakeholders to assist with recurring tax filings and provide support during external audits in multiple jurisdictions. Review incoming invoices for accuracy, address payment or vendor discrepancies, and oversee timely processing of supplier and employee expense payments. Develop, formalize, and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and operating procedures to support a scalable finance function. Monitor general ledger activity and investigate variances or unusual transactions to improve accuracy and reporting consistency.
