Acute Care Academic Hospital (300 beds including Behavioral Health and Maternity; 125 true Med/Surg beds)
EMR: Meditech (legacy version)
Opportunity Highlights: Academic environment with resident presence GME/teaching experience preferred Provide inpatient consultative services; all adult patients Consults may come from inpatient units or ED Approx. 20 new consults per week per provider, with a census of 20 patients Collaborate with employed physicians and private attendings Supervise and support night shift coverage Emergency credentialing available in 1 day
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active NY license
- Comfortable working in an academic teaching environment
- Must be available to cover full week if possible
