Full Charge Bookkeeper
Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY | Hybrid Onsite Monday–Friday for the first month, then a minimum of 2 days per week Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Required Experience: 4+ years of full charge bookkeeping, including hands-on QuickBooks Online Salary: $70,000–$75,000 Benefits: Medical & dental, 401(k) with 4% match from day one, PTO that grows with tenure, paid sick time Employment: Full-Time W2, Direct HireAbout the RoleBlue United Sourcing is partnering with an established technology services company to hire its sole bookkeeper, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll own the books, from daily transactions, A/P and A/R through closings and multi-state sales tax, plus light office admin. The right person is a proactive communicator who asks questions, confirms deadlines, flags issues early and learns existing processes before suggesting changes.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of full charge bookkeeping with stable tenure
  • Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience; solid GAAP, general ledger and month-end close knowledge
  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and clear, proactive communication
  • Commutable distance to Midtown
Able to pass a criminal background check18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in QuickBooks OnlineHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closings and account reconciliations
  • Process A/P, A/R, client invoicing, deposits, intercompany transactions and expense reimbursements
  • Compute, file and remit multi-state sales tax
  • Track PTO and serve as the point of contact for building management
Nice to Have: QuickBooks certification, multi-entity bookkeeping, multi-state sales tax/resale certificate experience, and experience reporting directly to an owner or executive.
