Interior Designer

Location: New York City

The Role: Lead residential renovations from concept through construction, combining creative design, technical documentation, sourcing, and client management. Partner with homeowners, Project Managers, vendors, and consultants to deliver thoughtful, buildable designs that meet client goals and budgets.

Responsibilities: Develop design concepts, mood boards, finish palettes, and 2D/3D presentations. Source materials, fixtures, lighting, appliances, cabinetry, and decorative elements; coordinate samples, pricing, lead times, and approvals. Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and construction-ready design packages. Guide homeowners through decisions, communicate proactively, and manage expectations and feedback. Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and construction teams to carry design intent through execution. Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and project records with accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications: 5+ years of professional Interior Design or Architecture experience. Strong design sensibility and understanding of residential construction and renovation. Experience preparing client presentations, technical drawings, and construction documentation. Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills. Ability to balance creativity, budget, and practical execution.

Preferred: Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. 1+ years of Revit experience. Experience in high-end residential design, design-build environments, and NYC renovations. Familiarity with luxury sourcing and contractor, consultant, and vendor coordination. Comfort using AI tools.
