Senior Early Childhood Teacher – Childcare

KinderCare is seeking a Senior Teacher to lead classrooms and inspire young learners in our early childhood education programs. You will design and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, model best teaching practices, and mentor junior staff. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe, nurturing environment, building strong family partnerships, observing and assessing children’s progress, and maintaining compliance with state and center standards. You’ll collaborate with center leadership on program improvement while supporting an inclusive, growth-minded culture for children and colleagues. Lead and manage an early childhood classroom for designated age groups Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment Observe, document, and assess children’s development and learning outcomes Communicate regularly with families and build strong school-home partnerships Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom staff Maintain compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations Collaborate with center leadership on program quality and improvement initiatives Participate in professional development and training Support inclusive practices and positive behavior guidance Curriculum planning for early childhood education Classroom management Child development and assessment Early childhood education standards knowledge Family communication and engagement Behavior guidance and positive discipline Lesson planning and documentation Compliance with state licensing regulations Team leadership and staff mentoring Health, safety, and hygiene practices in childcare Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State early childhood education teaching credentials or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification Background check clearance per state regulations Knowledge of early learning standards and child development best practices
