Assistant Director of Nursing (RN)

We are seeking an attentive and knowledgeable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist in ensuring the nursing department provides attentive and efficient care to patients and help oversee the overall operations of our AMAZING skilled nursing facility. The ADON will assist with the planning, organizing, and implementation of nursing procedures and projects as well as ensuring overall compliance. Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):Active RN license Active CPR certification Proven experience as Charge RN in SNFUnderstanding of basic budgeting and financial reporting Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel Great communication and people skills Outstanding organizational and stress management skills Aptitude in problem-solving Responsibilities of ADON include but are not limited to: Maintain standards of the nursing homes. Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses. Ensure smooth operation of the nursing department. Assisting in budget preparation and expense management. Inform management of any staff concerns.
