Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in the state of Texas
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or a related field
- Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
- In-depth knowledge of special education laws and individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Proven ability to interpret data and write comprehensive, actionable reports
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students using standardized tests and observational tools to identify learning differences
- Interpret evaluation results and provide concise, informative recommendations to IEP teams
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families in developing and updating IEPsMaintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with regulations and district protocols
- Offer expertise in eligibility and program placements, helping to shape interventions and supports
