Applied AI Engineer | New York CityHybrid, 4 days onsite | $157,000–$200,000 Please note * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship/visa transfer.* Lawrence Harvey has been engaged by a global engineering and consulting organization on a position that is critical to the continued growth of its Applied AI capabilities and expansion of its AI engineering presence in New York City. They are looking for an Applied AI Engineer who will build and expand production LLM and RAG applications across internal and external platforms. You will work across document ingestion, chunking, retrieval, evaluation, APIs, and the broader application layer while leveraging an established AI platform and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be joining a highly technical and collaborative Applied AI team and will play a key role in turning LLM capabilities into reliable, production-grade applications used across the organization.
