Senior Applied AI Engineer

Compensation: $180k - $250k base + equity

Location: New York City (Chelsea) — fully on-site five days/ week

What You'll Do: Build and ship production AI agents and multi-step LLM workflows. Develop agents that enrich claim information using permissible public sources. Build internal workflows to help operations review ambiguous records. Integrate agents with existing backend, data, and ML systems. Monitor production performance, investigate failures, and improve reliability. Work closely with the CTO, ML, backend, and operations teams. What You'll BringStrong Python and production backend engineering experience. Experience shipping LLM agents and AI systems to production. Hands-on with evaluations, graders, and testing frameworks. Familiarity with agent tooling such as OpenHands, Agent2Agent, and MCP.Able to move quickly from prototype to robust production systems. Clear track record of owning and shipping meaningful technical work.
