Summary: Monitor, maintain, and configure enterprise backup environments and storage solutions. Coordinate break-fix maintenance and troubleshooting across diverse backup appliances and disk arrays, including Oracle ZFS.Resolve SAN connectivity and fabric issues using command-line diagnostics and zoning. Support security compliance efforts, including vulnerability remediation and system authorization. Qualifications &Compensation:

Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Years of Experience: 20+ years

Total Compensation: $348k+ yearly (tentative)

Job Description: Monitor and administer backup platforms including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubrik. Interface with stakeholders to integrate new servers and virtual machines into backup schedules and troubleshoot job failures. Provision, configure, and integrate new enterprise backup hardware and software solutions. Troubleshoot and remediate hardware and software issues on backup appliances and disk arrays including Oracle ZFS, NetApp, VAST, and IBM.Diagnose and repair SAN fabric issues utilizing command-line troubleshooting techniques and SAN zoning. Collaborate with security teams to ensure system vulnerabilities are promptly identified and patched. Assist with System Security Plan (SSP) re-authorization and security documentation maintenance. Participate in scheduled rotational on-call coverage for after-hours operational support.
