Summary: Provide system administration and infrastructure support for large-scale Linux and Windows environments. Configure and maintain compute, network, and storage resources while automating operations with Bash, Python, Ansible, and SaltStack. Manage virtualized environments with VMware, deploy containerized systems using Docker and Kubernetes, and monitor operations using Splunk and Nagios. Job Description: Provide comprehensive support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large-scale IT systems. Manage the daily configuration, operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for compute, network, memory, and storage system components. Configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems, installing COTS/GOTS/FOSS software and implementing OS enhancements to maximize reliability and performance. Maintain system security integrity and configure network components to ensure robust operations. Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. Automate operational tasks and deployment pipelines using modern automation and containerization technologies.
