Position: Medical Records & Billing Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (On-Site)
We are seeking a Medical Records & Billing Specialist to join our Scottsdale law firm. In this role, you will play a key part in helping our clients by managing, analyzing, and maintaining critical medical documentation that supports their cases.
Responsibilities:
Request, organize, and thoroughly review medical records.
Analyze medical billing records and health insurance data.
Maintain spreadsheets to track treatment timelines and patient health data.
Identify and resolve discrepancies with lien carriers and insurance providers.
Ensure all client records are accurate, complete, and easy to retrieve.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, health insurance, or medical records.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient with Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a law firm or with medical liens.
- Familiarity with personal injury cases.
