Required:
Option 1 Bachelor's Degree; Valid Texas Teacher Special Education Certification and Generalist, Core Subjects or Elementary Self-Contained or an Alternative Certification Program (ACP) Eligibility Letter in the following: Special Education and Generalist, Core Subjects or Elementary Self-Contained Option 2 Bachelor's Degree; Valid Texas Special Education Certification; Meet Texas Content Competency provisions(* Must have passed the Special Education and Content exam from the ACP Program to qualify)
Preferred:
Bilingual Certificate or must become Bilingual certified within the current school year; General knowledge of curriculum & instruction; Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
