Project Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities: Direct supervision of personnel including Project Accountants and Accounts Payable AssociatesProject Accounting Supervisor will review and ensure accuracy and integrity of AIA invoice billingReview and verify billing for fee percentage and insuranceLiaise with clients and monitor collection of billingIn charge of outstanding accounts receivables -manage follow-up inquiries to clientsMonitor cash flow and communicate to senior managementParticipate in monthly financial meetings with project managers for monitor progress of project and ensure proper and accurate billing and pay application to client per contract termsReview and interpret contracts, subcontractor documents, payment terms, insurance, and bond requirementsReview and verify accuracy of final AIA payment application from trade subcontractorsLiaise with vendors and respond to inquiries from general contractors and project managersIn charge of outstanding accounts payablesAs a Project Accounting Supervisor, you will monitor weekly check runs and wire transfersResponsible for close out of the projects upon their completionAssist with the monthly close process and financial reporting for the companyRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred 7+ years of construction/project accounting experienceExperience with Sage 300 (Timberline accounting software) and Procore (project management software) Strong communication skills; Both verbal and writtenProficient at an intermediate level with MS ExcelAble to analyze raw data and present it in a meaningful manner to upper managementWilling to work in office 5 days in midtown ManhattanJob TypeDirect HireCompensation107950 - $146050
