Company: Swinerton Swinerton is seeking an experienced Doors, Frames & Hardware (DFH) Foreman to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This role is responsible for leading field crews and overseeing the installation of commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware while maintaining Swinerton's standards for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with commercial doors, hollow metal and wood frames, and architectural hardware and is comfortable leading crews in an active commercial construction environment.

What You'll Do: Lead and coordinate DFH field crews and daily installation activities Install and oversee installation of commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware Read and interpret construction drawings, door schedules, hardware schedules, and specifications Plan daily work and coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment Ensure installations meet project plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and quality standards Coordinate field activities with project superintendents, project management, and other trades Identify field conflicts and communicate issues before they impact the schedule Track production and help keep work on schedule Perform quality checks and assist with punch-list and closeout activities Maintain a clean and safe work environment Lead by example and reinforce company safety requirements Train, mentor, and provide direction to craft employees

What We're Looking For: Previous commercial construction experience with Doors, Frames & Hardware Strong knowledge of commercial door, frame, and hardware installation Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman, Lead Installer, or similar field leadership role Ability to read blueprints, door schedules, hardware schedules, and construction documents Understanding of proper installation methods, tolerances, and field measurements Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to coordinate work with multiple trades and project teams Safety-focused with a strong commitment to quality Ability to work independently and make field-level decisions when necessary Experience with Division 8 / Openings, including: Hollow metal frames Wood and hollow metal doors Architectural hardware Closers, panic devices, locks, and related hardware Door and frame adjustments Punch-list and troubleshooting Commercial tenant improvement and/or ground-up construction Why Swinerton?
