Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
Pay: $14.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time No nights or weekends. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality decorated apparel, works efficiently in a fast-paced production environment, and understands the importance of accuracy and meeting customer deadlines.
Responsibilities: Set up and operate commercial multi-head embroidery machines Embroider polos, jackets, hats, bags, uniforms, and other promotional apparel Load embroidery files and select proper thread colors Hoop garments accurately and efficiently Select appropriate backing, stabilizers, needles, and other materials Perform thread changes and basic machine adjustments Monitor production to maintain consistent embroidery quality Inspect finished products for correct placement, thread quality, and overall appearance Identify and correct common embroidery issues, including thread breaks, registration problems, puckering, and tension issues Trim, clean, fold, and prepare completed garments as needed Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of embroidery equipment Follow work orders carefully to ensure correct garments, quantities, logos, thread colors, and embroidery locations Keep the embroidery area clean and organized Help keep jobs moving through production to meet customer deadlines
Qualifications: Commercial embroidery experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-head commercial embroidery equipment and a working knowledge of garment hooping, backing, thread tension, logo placement, and embroidery quality standards. Physical Requirements: This position requires standing for extended periods and handling garments and boxes throughout the workday. The employee must be able to safely lift and move typical apparel-production boxes and materials.
