Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)Capital Markets Associate – New YorkOur client, a prominent law firm, is looking to add a mid-level associate to its capital markets group in New York. The team represents both issuers and underwriters on a broad mix of public and private securities offerings, and also advises clients on ongoing SEC reporting, disclosure, and corporate governance matters. The practice works closely across the firm's offices, giving associates exposure to a wide variety of deals. This is a strong opportunity for a capital markets associate who is ready to take on increased responsibility on sophisticated equity and debt transactions. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States3–5 years of law firm experience in securities and capital markets work
- Experience with private placements and PIPEs, Rule 144A offerings, IPOs, and follow-on equity and debt offerings
- Experience with Exchange Act reporting and corporate governance matters is a plus
- Major law firm experienceJ.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with excellent academic credentials
- Admitted (or able to be promptly admitted) to the New York bar
