Medical-Surgical Travel Registered Nurse

Provide nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. Assess patients, monitor for changes, administer ordered medications and treatments, and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers during a 13-week contract. Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned. Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition. Escalate patient concerns promptly. Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team.
