Construction Quality Control Manager

Manager: A minimum of ten (10) years' experience or equivalent in a QA/QC capacity. Job duties for this project: Quality management: Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan, procedures, and quality-control documentation. Inspections: Oversee incoming material inspections, installation inspections, final inspections, and pre-functional checks. Testing: Coordinate and review testing, calibration records, and inspection results. Nonconforming work: Identify deficiencies, document corrective actions, and prevent nonconforming work or materials from proceeding. Documentation: Maintain quality records, daily quality activity reports, inspection forms, and supporting documentation. Audits: Conduct or coordinate internal and external quality audits and track corrective actions. Quality Work Plans: Prepare and maintain Quality Work Plans (QWPs) and associated inspection requirements. Material traceability: Verify that materials and equipment can be traced to applicable drawings, specifications, and approval records. Coordination: Work with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, suppliers, testing agencies, and LIRR representatives. Meetings: Attend meetings where quality issues are discussed, as required.
