Apply for this role →We are looking for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and strengthen EHS programs at our site. The ideal candidate will drive regulatory compliance, risk management, employee engagement, and a strong Zero Incident Safety Culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site-wide EHS programs, objectives, and performance.* Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health & safety regulations.* Conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.* Monitor EHS KPIs, metrics, incidents, and corrective actions.* Maintain applicable ISO/OHSAS certifications and support audits.* Ensure timely closure of internal and regulatory findings.* Lead EHS committees, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives.* Manage EHS reporting, documentation, and regulatory communication.* Support emergency response and crisis management.* Drive continuous improvement and a strong safety culture across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.* Relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.* Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM is preferred.* Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk assessment, audits, and training.* Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.* Proficiency in English and Spanish.
