Diesel Mechanic

Job Location: Gladewater, TX

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00+ per hour, depending on experience

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of equipment, including tractor-trailers, forklifts, loaders, and trailers. Job Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered equipment and vehicles Perform preventative maintenance on tractor-trailers, trailers, forklifts, and loaders Identify and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues Complete routine inspections and scheduled maintenance services Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment service records Communicate equipment needs and repair recommendations to the Lead Mechanic Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications: Experience repairing and maintaining tractor-trailers, forklifts, and loaders is required Strong diesel engine diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
