Senior Property Accountant

Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for assigned properties, ensuring accuracy and completeness across each reporting cycle. Analyze operating results and financial trends to identify variances, highlight risks, and provide practical recommendations to improve asset performance. Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, posting accruals, and completing account reconciliations in support of month-end and year-end close activities. Reconcile property cash accounts on a regular basis, including escrow, reserve, and other asset-level bank balances. Coordinate accounts receivable and accounts payable activities with internal support teams to help ensure timely collection processing and payment disbursement. Lead the annual budgeting process for property operations by developing financial plans that align with business objectives and realistic performance targets. Collaborate with property management staff and external business partners to resolve accounting issues, support reporting needs, and maintain strong financial controls.
