Senior Project Superintendent We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Superintendent. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Construction. The Senior Superintendent position is key for the future growth and advancement of Marker and our associates. This role is primarily responsible for the supervision, training, and development of new and advancing Forepersons, Assistant Superintendents, and Superintendents. Responsibilities include the direct supervision of large and complex projects as well. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a strong leader and has the desire to mentor and train others on the overall on-site administrative and technical management of commercial construction projects. Primary Location: Pittsburgh, PANecessary Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using Procore. Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the management of site logistics and contract operations. Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control. Experience supervising multiple superintendents on all-size projects. Detail oriented. Excellent team development skills and leadership abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and clients. Ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team (the project manager, senior project manager, project executive, etc.) to keep them informed of progress and problems on the site. Ability to communicate with all types of individuals and give clear directions to workers. Have a noticeable element of pride in yourself, your work, and everything within your control. Have the ability to be aware of everything going on around you. Be very perceptive.
