Accounts Payable Clerk

Key Responsibilities: Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices for accuracy, matching purchase orders and receipts. - Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner. - Data Entry: Enter invoices and payment details into the accounting system accurately. - Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring up-to-date and accurate files. - Expense Reporting: Assist in tracking and processing employee expense reports and reconciling corporate credit cards. - Quarter-End Closing: Collaborate with the Accounting team on quarter-end processes and journal entries.

Qualifications: Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. - Experience: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions. - Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). - Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with a high volume of transactions accurately and in a timely manner. - Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
