Description:
- American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of recent critical care experience and NC or compact RN licensure.
- DetailsICU setting within an 8-bed unit of a hospital with the region's largest and most advanced ICUPatient population includes geriatric and adult critical care patients
- Patient ratio of 2:1Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AMWeekend hours and call requirements as needed, with every-other-weekend expectation
- Floating to PCU required
- Uses Paragon EHR system
Requirements:
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS2+ years of recent acute care critical care experience required
- Must have critical care skills including ventilator management and drip titration (inotropes, chronotropes, etc)CCRN certification preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
Additional Information:
- Work at a Joint Commission accredited hospital with an 'A' LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including ventilator and drip management
- Scrub color requirement: navy blue or black
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
