Apply for this role →Night Shift Hospitalist Acute Care Physician Assistant Opening Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Physician Assistant Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity on the campus of Texas Health HEB. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients. Position details: Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P's & follow-up visits. Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses. Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients Document using EMR system. Participate in continuous quality improvement processes. If you: Enjoy working night shift, 7PM to 7AM, 7 on, 7 off Have active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making Are a Texas licensed Acute Care Physician Assistant Have ACLS certification Have 2 years of PA experience in ICU/CVICU required
Education: Master's Degree Physician Assistant Required.
Experience: 1 Year As a Physician Assistant.
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
PA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure.
