Domestic Shipping Coordinator

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Processes all customer product orders through company’s order entry software system. Prepares required shipping documentation for all domestic and international customer orders. Responsible for the content and accuracy of all shipping documents. Schedules and coordinates all freight logistics with customers, transportation providers and freight forwarders. Serves as the primary customer service contact and resolves all issues as they arise with respect to shipping and customer orders. Coordinates shipments with other Shipping Department personnel to ensure that all shipments are properly prepare & ready for pick up on-time. Prepares all documentation necessary for accurate customer packing list & invoicing. Scans and files all shipping documentation for future reference and auditing purposes. Prepares and ships product samples to potential customers. Other duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

Physical Requirements: Walking, standing. Lifting -weight of up to 50lbs.

Typical Work Conditions: Employees are subject to work at the warehouse. Work is in a manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to moving pallets & boxes. Person will be subject to food and nutritional bulk ingredients, which may affect the respiratorysystem or the skin, including an environment subject to odors, dust or airborne allergens. Person will be exposed to normal work hazard, including a variety of physical conditions such as a proximity to moving mechanical parts. Exposure to noise.
