Design Build Project Manager

Your New Company We are partnered with a highly respected 3rd-generation, family-owned general contractor that has been delivering major public infrastructure projects across New York City for over 80 years. The company has built a longstanding reputation for successfully delivering complex public-sector construction projects and has extensive experience working with major agencies such as the MTA, LIRR, PANYNJ, SCA, NYCHA amongst others. Your New RoleAs the Design-Build Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for managing a large, complex heavy electrical, civil, design, and construction project, including coordination throughout both the design and construction phases. You will oversee the project’s scope, budget, schedule, design coordination, and overall delivery, while serving as a key point of contact between the construction team, designers, engineers, public agencies, utilities, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. What You’ll Need to Succeed Minimum 10 years of experience managing large, complex heavy electrical, civil, design, and construction projects At least 5 years of experience managing Design-Build projects of similar scope, size, and complexity Demonstrated experience interfacing and coordinating with public agencies and utility companies Strong experience coordinating engineering, design, and construction teams Proven experience managing overall project scope, budget, and schedule Strong understanding of the Design-Build delivery process, including design coordination and integration with field construction Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred What You’ll Get in ReturnSalary ($150k-$190k) Depending on overall experience.
