Apply for this role →Medical Assistant Opportunity Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is looking to bring on a motivated medical assistant onto our team! As a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing necessary fittings for custom knee braces. You will educate patients to guarantee that each DME product achieves its prescribed clinical outcome. The target is to ensure our patients are provided with a comfortable and safe experience.
Responsibilities:
Review patient charts to prepare for delivery of braces and set daily goals.
Ensure inventory is accurately counted and recorded daily.
Participate in routing patients through the practice.
Measure and fit prescribed braces.
Perform adjustments/re-fittings as necessary.
Ensure patient bracing data is accurately recorded.
Skills
Medical assistant experience (preferred)
Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
Requirements: Medical assistant certification
