As aPrincipal Scientist, you will: Leadpreclinical pharmacology and bioanalytical programs, shaping IND-enabling studies and guiding the development of CNS-targeted therapeutics. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, influencing key decisions from concept to regulatory submission.
Essential Job Duties: Design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies supporting discovery and IND-enabling research. Oversee bioanalytical strategies using ELISA, MSD, qPCR, LC/MS, and histology for PK/PD and biodistribution. Interpret preclinical data and contribute to regulatory documentation. Serve as a key scientific lead in interactions with CROs, academic collaborators, and internal stakeholders. Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the strategic direction of CNS programs.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Bioengineering, or related discipline. 8+ years of biotech/pharma experience with biologics (antibodies, oligonucleotides, peptides). Proven track record in IND-enabling research and bioanalytical development. Strong understanding of CNS disease models and drug delivery systems. Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
