Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Payor Verification Government in West Plains, MO

Work Location: Remote or On-Site, United States

Hourly Compensation: $16 This position is bonus eligible

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday Friday, 8am 5pm (CST)

Job Summary: The Revenue Cycle Medical - Payor Verification Government Payors representative works with payor portals and payors via telephone to verify benefits, deductibles, and out-of-pocket amounts. Essential Functions/

Duties: Solve problems, research, and coordinate benefit issues. Work as team member to meet team and departmental goals and deadlines. Utilize payor portals and telephone for benefit verification. Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Analyze work processes to maximize efficiency.

Required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of medical billing experience including payor verification and/or communicating with payors directly Experience of computers and related technology, at an intermediate level Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel and Word Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to make timely decisions Ability to work independently with little or no direction and as an active member of the

Preferred Experience: Minimum of one (1) year working in a call center environment Minimum of one (1) year working in a customer service position. Above average knowledge of government insurance billing guidelines and policies Experience with payer portals and online eligibility inquiries
