Location: Swainsboro Early Head Start (High-Needs School) Date Available: 11/02/2026 Early Head Start Infant and Toddler Caregiver If you are interested in applying for the Early Head Start classroom paraprofessional (caregiver) position, you must submit a letter of interest by May 1, 2026
Effective Date: Anticipated date of employment 11/02/2026.
Qualifications: 1. Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood/Child Development from an accredited college preferred. 2. Diploma in Child Development or Early Childhood or related field required. 3.. A minimum of an Early Childhood Care and Education Basic TCC.or Comparable Credential 4. Paraprofessional license requirement: Hold an associate's degree or higher in any subject from a GaPSC-accepted accreditedinstitution; Hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment. 5. Experience working with infants and toddlers. 6.. Ability to work with infants, toddlers, and at-risk families. 7. Sound moral character, high ethical standards, and good health.
Salary: Determined by training and experience
Reports to: Early Head Start Director
